Subject: Retractable Cleats

Location: Kronenwetter, WI		I have a Ranger boat that has retratable cleats in the rear but non-retratcable cleats in front. This week I snapped a rod in front when it slid beneath a front cleat and went to pick it up.

Does anyone know of a way to remove the non-retractable cleats and replace with retractible cleats?

Those cleats can be real rod-breakers and well as heart breakers as that rod was one of my favs...Fig Rig 7-6 heavy action...dag-nabbit!
