The reason Ranger puts all the bells and whistles on there boats is because that's what the consumer wants. I don't buy the "making a $40k boat into a $54k boat thing" but if I was going to spend $40k on a boat I would not buy the stripped down model and would want all the bells and whistles on it.

What bells and whistles would you take off of a new Ranger, or any other brand for that matter to save some money?
