I just got mine this spring and have struggled deploying it from day one. It hangs up and is tough to move with just one person. I weigh 280 lbs and I can move things when I want to pretty easily. I'm just afraid to beat on it or force it too much. And yes I do know how to push the release mechanism "in and down." I'm hoping it gets easier over time but I have my doubts.
