On my new Lowrance 112, when I am using the split screen GPS mode, I like to have the "Track Up" function on. I don't like heading south, and having north always up and having to look at everything backwards...
Anyways, if I am running the boat with the big motor the GPS screen has no problem following my movements and the map shifts when ever I move from heading north to west or whatever... But when I am using my trolliing motor and fishing, the screen doesn't keep up. I will be heading down a weed line pointing south and at the start of the run everything will be fine. When I have to turn to follow a point out and I am now heading west, the map doesn't follow along and change with me....it doesn't "Track Up". This only does that at low speeds like when using my trolling motor. If I crank my trolling motor up to 10 and hit it for about 10 seconds the map will catch back up and move in it's right position.
Any idea as to what I can do???
I know I probably didn't explain my problem the best...so if you have any more questions, just ask....
Thanks for any help you could give me. |
