If they did that, you'd wish that there was a cool place to place your small boxes, boards, markers, and rods under the cap on the built in shelf. Look at the sides under the cap and imagine all that room gone.

Everyone is a boat designer these days. Put in what you want you will take out what someone else wants.

I got a double bubble, and wouldn't give up that room for nothing.
