I'm very interested to see some real readings from the side image (as good as the adds?). I have two Garmins (one on the trolling motor and one on the transom). I also have a Lowrance 480 on the transom, when I have both "on" they interfere with each other regardless of which two are "on". I know that the problem has to do with the frequency of the transducers. I wonder if the side image would produce the same problem (noise) if two units were running. I've read somewhere that as long as the transducer frequency was different enough that they would not interfere with each other. I like to run the Lowrance split screen with GPS and the Garmin looking down when in Canada (better safe than sorry), and would like units that are compatable, besides side imaging would probably be very interesting even on Known spots!
