On the plywood sections, you could sand it down and re-prime or use epoxy resin. For all of the carpet, I would hit it with a high pressure sprayer (i.e. self car wash), and then rent a carpet cleaner from home depot, and clean the area multiple times. Make sure to buy the shampoo with the mold killer. Then let the boat bake in the sun for a day or two with all of the lids open.
This will work as long as you don't keep moisture in your boat. As soon as you lock moisture in again, it will come back. Get some of the moisture absorbers from Boat US and place them in your boat when you are putting the cover on. |
