The reason that I stayed with the same prop pitch when I bought the stainless prop was because I went to the Mercury webiste and used their prop selector. It recommended that I stay with the same pitch for "overall good performance" and stated that if I wanted just more top end to go down in pitch. Will have to get it out on the water (if the lakes ever open up) and see how it does. If the performance isn't there, I will send the prop back to Cabela's and get an lower pitched prop. |
