Merc went to china because they can build the products cheaper over there than here, which in turn puts more money in mercs pocket. Pretty soon every manufacturer will be over seas, it's all about the $$$ and nothing to do with the pride of being able to say "Made in the U.S.A."
Joe, i think the auto industry proved who does a better job, it might be about quality just as much as it about money. You need to look at facts, not just emotions. I don't think built in the USA is about pride at this point...it is about money.... |
