Most Automotive polishing products contain silicon which long term can cause fiberglass to separate, in addition using any abrasive compounds on fiberglass clearcoat can cause damage to the clear finish itself. Better to clean well as most dull finishes are actually hard water stains and wax with a marine wax made for sparkly finishes.
