I bought Devon cement and glued mine together several times but it just got to the point where I could not rely on it anymore - kept breaking when I hit stumps and stuff unter the water. The puck style holds up much better. I had to do a little adjusting of my trolling motor to make sure the puck was pointed straight down but I still think it is a much better option
