Also have some very close friends running one and have for many years. I think if you were to ask this question over on WalleyeFirst you might get some better feedback, considering there target market is the walleye guys. They recently began expanding their marketing to the musky world.
Yes, Yar Craft boats handle big water very well. The company originated on the Menominee River and the Lake Michigan water out of Marinette, Wisconsin. They were originally designed with The Great Lakes angler in mind. Many of there models are designed for a guy who likes to troll.
As for resale, I think living where you live would definitely effect your resale value compared to a guy where these boats are available and sold, but with the Internet and boat classifieds, resale should be fine. |
