Location: Stevens Point, WI | If the battery is holding a charge, I would stick with it. However, I would keep an eye on it. And for replacing both batteries, it's not necessary, however, having batteries that are the same age, there more likely to go about the same time, verses one going at one time and the other a different time.
You could also have your batteries load tested and that will tell you the life of the battery and whether or not it's good and holding a charge.
