Dan. What Merckid said dito, I used my 17'7" Hydra-sport for a muskie guide boat for over 10 years it served me very well , the Phantom should bounce off rocks better then glass , I got into trouble with mine on Georgian Bay in a storm and hit some rock's cost my insurance comp. $2400. to fix it up. If your fishing lakes with unmark rocks I say stay with the Tin. Now if you going to fish lakes like Mille Lacs get into a glass 19'er or bigger. If I ever get a diferent boat it going to have to be at least a 19'er. You have a great boat use it as long as you can. (GATAGOFGR (8) ). Marv.
