they both have the same hull but the cmv is set up like a bassboat. the decks are taller and really in the back. it will handle the bigger water but with you not really down in the boat like a bass boat its not safe for rough water. i run a 1850 tournament sc and the walls are higher than the usual 1850 you should see mine parked next to a regular one you can see the difference...bill
