Have a friend with an 06 Super Duty, who went the Mike Troyer chip route. Added exhaust, and the thing gets great mileage. His programmer has three levels. Mileage, towing, and MAX HP. That setting will belch black smoke, and beat alot muscle cars in the 1/4 mile! He doesn't use that level often. If you get too radical, exhaust temp needs to be monitored, too. I'll look for the link.
