oh definitely. my company work truck is an F-150, and it feels like a dog compared to the cummins. diesel is the way to go. plus, you can chip 'em and get even better mileage. one of the guys i work with has a chipped '06 cummins 3500 and he sees between 25-28mpg on the highway. not much worse towing, either.
