i go the overkill route: 1600 Fish hawk SC, pulled by an '03 Dodge Ram 2500 Cummins turbo diesel. i've seen 18.5 mpg towing, over 20 not towing. don't expect that out of the new 6.7L Cummins, i've been hearing reports in the 16s.
