If that's the tiller you're looking at then you might be OK. If it's the console rated at (2008 specs) 125 max HP then that's WAYYY underpowered. Adding the 9.9 4-stroke plus the extra battery and all your gear will knock your top speed down a few MPHs. I really don't know about how fast the boat will go, but if I had to guess I'd say lower 30s, MAYBE 35 tops, when you add the 9.9.

I've got a buddy that fishes out of a 1750 tiller and that is a SWEET rig for the small to medium sized waters we fish here in IL. Good luck with your decision!
