Subject: Scuzzy spark plugs/ question for Merc. mechanics

Okay, for the 2nd time now, My plugs looked pretty sooty/oily on my 2005 opti 150. I changed the plugs at 75 hrs., and now at 168 hrs. This time they looked worse than the 1st time! A merc. mechanic said to always run quick clean and fuel stabilizer every time. I did this, but the plugs look worse than my old 50 hp carbed motor. Argh. I spent a fair amt. of time trolling last season, but would always open her up after. Motor ran great except for one time when she stumbled while trolling. No alarms on the smart gauge. Should I be concerned about carbon/crap buildup in the combustion chamber? Is there something else I should be doing? Is there a comb. chamber cleaning product out there? Thanks
