Maybe. You pay nearly a $7000 premium for a diesel, and it is on a 3/4 ton platform. The Hybrid trucks and SUV's will be on a 1/2 ton frame to start. Even if they are the same, fuel mileage will be better, and the fuel costs less per gallon.
