Location: Grinnell, Iowa | I am kind of sorta, but not really until next spring, in the used boat market. I came across an ad for a 2001 Ranger 617 DVS. I am not extremely familiar with the Ranger families and have never heard of the 617. I am assuming that the 617 is part of the 618,619,620, and 621 family. Is this assumption correct? If anyone can provide any information on this model, that would be great. This website is a great place to go for advice and opinions. The information that was provided in the thread about the Ranger 618 was very useful. I have fished out of my buddies 618 up on LOTW and found it to be very comfortable for two people and pretty much ideal for one person.
