Location: Des Plaines, IL		I have a 1985ish 40 horse Johnson that starts with no problem but will only run about 1/3 speed unless I push down the "primer" button. If I hold the button down it sounds like I'm giving it too much gas. With the button down I am running at a bout 22 mph, if I push it down and let it go and push it down(and keep doiing that I get up to about 25 mph)normal full thotle.
Any Ideas?
