Subject: Looking at Buying a Ranger Cherokee Aluminum 17.5

I have been looking at used boats these last few weeks as I can not afford a new boat. I just found someone who is selling a 17.5 Cherokee ranger. It is a Tiller model which has a 75 Mercury oil injected Tiller Main Motor and a four stroke suzuki 9.9 kicker next to it. it is a nice open boat with alot of storage and nice size rod locker But I forgot to measure it. My Question is I am wondering if a 75 Tiller will be hard to control and steer at high speeds, Max motor on this boat is a 75. I am just wondering if any of you guys have a large tiller and could tell me if it is hard on your arm. I am just afraid it may be too much to handle, as I have always had a steering wheel on a side console. Any Pros or cons on a 75 Tiller.... any help would be be appreciated THANKS Mikey
