Make sure to trim your motor all the way down to let all the water drain out after every time fishing...Also another thing I make sure to do is, making sure that every time I start the motor in cold weather and water temps to let the motor run for a while until the water warms some coming out of the motor...
I run Stabil in mine towards the end of the season also..
