call MinnKota Service toll free number and explain the problem to them.
They should be able to help.

If not, I'd call one of their repair shops.

From my limited experience with MinnKota (Johnson Outdoors), I've found they are more than willing to help customers.

Someone should be able to help without charging you a leg and arm to fix your problem. It sounds like it should be fairly simple. Hopefully, someone else knows exactly what your problem is.

Post how MinnKota helps...
