I read about decarboning your engine using "Seafoam" on another boating website. Talked to the local marina guy & he recommended just running something like the Yamaha injector cleaner. He said running some of the heavier duty OMC stuff cleans the cylinders to bare metal & essentially you are back to break-in!

I have an 1989 Johnson 150HP- so it's seen some hours - plus on the annual Canadian trophy walleye trip it see's a lot of trolling (+ 8 hrs/day @ 1000-1200rpm). Is this decarboning a good idea?
