Subject: Starting problems


Couple of things I would check into:

1. Check the plugs/replace. Check the gap...it should be .030

2. Check the timing. If the timing is off by a little, the engine will not start as well, but may run somewhat well.

3. Run a decarbonizer through the engine. This will clean out any gunk that may be constricting fuel flow.

These are just a couple of things to check out...

The motor should not take 4-5 tries to get it going cold, unless you are not going to high idle before you start...
