I was out this past weekend, and I noticed that the gauge reading would fluctuate while trolling in not much of a chop.

motor is an '01 90HP four stroke Merc. I'm not sure on the gauge set, but these are on a Lund Mr Pike and CE was the easiest thing to read on the back of the gauges. Wires don't look like they got a short. I checked the wires at the back of the gauges and at the motor. Looks like there is some sort of sensor mounted to the motor bracket that sends the signal to the gauge for the trim level besides the wires that go to the trim motor? Where do I go from here? Thanks.
