Location: Stevens Point, WI		I don't think it technically matters, but it is better to have two batteries the same age because when one goes, usually the other goes. You get stuck one day when one battery is on it's last leg and don't have enough power, you will be sorry. But otherwise, I don't think there is a sin for running a 3 year old battery with a new one. But I could be wrong.
