Location: Stevens Point, WI | I would first tell you to get your battery or batteries "load tested" before you go out and buy new. How old are the batteries? You can have them load tested at any good auto parts store for free, that way you will know if the battery is shot before you go out and buy a new one.
But as for kind of battery to buy, well this topic is basically like a Chevy vs. Ford debate, everyone will mention what they like because that's what they use. But here is a few good ones that I have used and have had nothing but luck with them.
Optimas, Trojans, and also against many peoples objection, Everstart from Wal-Mart. I have done well with them but I know there will be others on here who will put them down immediately but I personally have had great luck with them. But you definitely can't go wrong with Optimas, Trojans and I have heard a lot of good things about Remy batteries I believe. Made by Johnson Control so...Hope this helps, otherwise do a search for batteries and you will get numerous threads. |
