I guess I had better check to see if I really have a 42" shaft now. My bass boat sits low in the water and the only time I remember it wasn't long enough was when the waves were breaking over the bow of my boat. The Maxxum 70 comes in
a 52" shaft. Perhaps, I'll order that one. Thanks for the advice.
