Subject: Never again!

...so last Thursday was the 3rd time being stuck in the middle of nowhere due to my motor dying. Just after boating a fish and missing another 5 min later....I want this to never ever ever happen again....time before that was almost a very cold night at Minaki in late October...fun.

I don't have an extravegent rig my any means, but it catches Muskies. I run a 20h 2003 merc right now and can't go over the weight of that motor because of how low the boat sits.

I want to buy a new 9.9 or 15hp to get me through the year and use it as a kicker for the new boat in spring (will still be used tiller style).

What motor in this range is bullet-proof? I don't care about fuel comsumption or top speed...more important is reliabilty and noise.

Thanks for any help.
