Location: Stevens Point, WI | I own a 2007 Tuffy 1760 DW, meaning dual console with a full windshield. Let me put it this way, I LOVE this boat! Would love to be in a 1890 but for majority of the water I fish, the 1760 is perfect. This is the first fiberglass boat I have owned and I will say, big difference in stability. The biggest thing I have noticed is when you have three guys fishing off one side of the boat, the boat hardly flinches to one side. The last couple aluminum boats I have owned would have been so off balance that you would almost feel like your going to fall out of the boat sometimes. But really, 1760 with a 150 Mercury Optimax, what a boat in my opinion! Another thing I really like is how the storage in this boat is so user friendly. What I mean by that is, I use a lot of storage containers to put stuff in, all the boxes I use fit in the storage areas like pieces of a puzzle. But I would definitely highly recommend this rig, you won't be disappointed! Let me know if you have any other questions or want to see pics.
