Location: Green Bay, WI		Can't the unit's firmware just be rolled back to the last stable version? I would think Lowrance would offer the archived versions of firmware for just this sort of an issue. I have never really checked though. The only Lowrance unit I ever upgraded was an X15 about 4 years ago--and that was buggy, to say the least.

So if my unit works, I am good. Firmware upgrades are inherently dangerous in my experience. Ask them if you can roll it back...
