A friend of mine has a colorado and gets really good gas milaage for a midsized truck. i don't know that he has towed anything with substantial weight but it seems to have pretty good power. Another friend of mine drives a Tundra though and that thing is a dream. Doesn't lose a whole lot while towing at all.
