Ill ditto the green treated plywood. I went and bought a clearance priced can of exterior grade latex paint (most places mark mis-colored gallons down to near nothing). Since youre carpeting over it color wont matter. I actually have a coat of purple under my carpet. I think I may have even done two+ coats...what else would I do with purple exterior latex paint??? I did mine 8years ago and used the recommended marine carpet glue and she's still as tight as can be. Parts of the boat with the factory installed carpeting have already come lose...go figure.
