I have a Lund Mr. Pike and I am wondering how those of you out there install rod holders? Notice the really wide flat gunwales, I don't know what is the best way to attach a rod holder without damaging my boat. The gunwales seam to be made of 1/2" ply covered with a skin of aluminum and I am not sure that if I drill a hole into this stuff if it will hold up to the torture of musky fishing. I am also not to fond of flush mounting a rod holder because I don't really want to put a two inch hole in my boat. Any ideas? Are there any rod holders (that hold up to musky fishing) that can go in a pedestal mount?
