Location: north central wisconsin		one transducer on the bow mount and the other on the transom. Both units are on starting battery now, but I usually prefer the front unit to the starting battery and the transom to the trolling motor battery. The battery thing doesn't usually make them go whacky because of each other. The battery deal just gives me noise from other electronics. Thanks, I'll take that into consideration.
