Guys,

I just went and looked, I still have the prop I ran on my 690, when I traded it I gave them the spare and kept the good one. It is a 21 pitch Tempest plus. Awesome hole shot on my old 690, my top end was low mid 50's.

I too always had the best performance with around 1/2-3/4 tank of fuel with it.

With a full 43 gallon tank in big waves, LOTW, Mille Lacs, even my home lake, it took quite a bit of messing with trim/tilt/rpm ranges to get it to ride decent and even then it wasn't the best.

Still IMHO one of the best rigs ever made by Ranger or any other manufacturer. Love my new 618 VS, but the 690 will always have a place in my heart. They fished awesome, run decent, and are a good looking rig with pleanty of room.

Enjoy your new prop, it will work just fine.
