Yes, same as the Merc, i noticed a better ride with half tank of gas, i noticed last summer on LOTW with full tank (43 gal.) and i would say 1.5 to 2 foot waves my boat would porpouse and speer waves, i would have to keep playing with the trim, this happened at slower speeds (about 25-35 mph) not so much if i cranked it up to 45-50, but i dont want to run wide open because you can watch the gas gauge go down and gas is very expensive in Canada. as the week went on it got better because of less fuel in the tank. I like to keep it at 4000 RPM or slightly under for the best fuel milage. The prop probably wont help with this, it is probably the hull. Thanks for the info, its nice we have the same boats and will be able to discuss different issues.
