I've been looking hard at boats also. I don't want to afford what I really want this year, so I set me sights a little lower. IF, and I do mean IF, I buy a boat this year, it's probably going to be a Lund 1700 Angler SS, 115 Merc 4-stroke, Eagle Custom Trailer with Brakes, Removeable tongue. Quoted price $18,400.

Same boat with a 125 Merc, and Shorelander trailer is $15,600.

I like the layout of the Angler better than the Mr. Pike. Actually, it is last years, 2001, Mr. Pike. This year, the Pike went to the Pro V style gunnels, and vertical rod lockers.

Went to three dealers, and prices varied from 18,400 to 19,100. Rigged and ready.

If I decide not to pull the trigger this year, I'm just going to get a new bowmount for my Tuffy Walleye Rampage. That is, if I don't sell it first.

Tight lines,

Shep
