Location: Davenport, IA		I have both in my boat and definetly prefer the console. Its better for trolling IMO because you can take your hand off it without worrying about it moving. I like to go fast too. Unfortunately my boat doesn't go fast. Also it allow for a much larger back deck. Which is a reason I don't' like V-bottom boats.
