Avoid the direct inject! A friend bought one, took it to the water and spun the prop first thing. Got it back to the ramp, on the trailer and it is leaking oil. Took it to the dealer, he checked it out and said he couln't find anything wrong. Talked to Evinrude, they told him and I quote "it's supposed to do that" no kidding. The thing is still under warranty, spitting oil, and no one will fix it. Bad deal.
