Tiller, main reason the room. With 8.5 foot rods lake wood tackle boxes it gets crowded. With a 20 foot tiller I have enough room to make fishing comfortable with out stepping on or tripping over my gear. I also was annoyed that I could not put rods over 8ft in the rod lockers of the console boats. With my tiller I can put a rod up to 9'6. Sure they are slower but you get a 20 foot boat and now you can run a 150 your gonna be running in the upper 40's for speed. Sure you can have a 620 with a 225 and haul in the mid 50's to maybe 60 but what is 10 mph for all the room you get.
