It's likely the boat you are looking at it a 180 XT, the tiller version of a boat 18' long and about 80" wide. It would have a 60 on it more than likely. The hole in the hull would be caused by improper fit to the trailer over many many years of use. Yes, it can be repaired easily, but should be fixed from the inside, requiring cutting an access port into the floor to access the damage. It
is a great hull, I had several.

No, it isn't underpowered.

Try polishing compound and carnuba wax to bring back the finish.
