I had a '95 Skeeter 17' deep V before I got a new Tuffy in '03. The Skeeter was REALLY well made. The finish was tough, the hull was tough, the carpet was tough and looked new for five years, it handled big water well, the dry storage was DRY, ect.
In the future when a bigger boat makes sence for me, I'll look at what Skeeter has available first.
