I run a 2006 1760 with a yammy F150. I absolutely love the boat for just about everything i've used it for. I fish primarily walleye tournaments and put it through quite a test this year at green bay, and let me say I could not believe what a 17ft boat can do in 4-5 ft waves. As far as the ride goes though, you MUST prop the boat right. As far as fishability i would say i do as much casting/jigging from the front of the boat as i do trolling from the back. I'm a fairly big guy (6'1 and 225) and with two people in the back trolling there is enough room to not be running into each other all the time. And the front of this boat is HUGE, lots of room for rods and casting. Hope this helps, if you have any other questions please feel free to ask!
