Subject: boat cover tiedowns


I cut a larger tarp down to fit my 16 footer. Put grommets on the edges. Going to take it 250 miles north and want to keep it covered. What has everyone tried to hold their covers down, that were durable? Flat straps vibrate, what type of bungies last longer, rubber or those stretchy ones? Rope? Weave it under the boat?
