Location: Schofield, Wisconsin		I have a 50 HP 2 stroke Mercury with an oil level window located on the front of the motor. I just bought the boat and am wondering how much oil it should be using? I used it over the weekend and ran it for about 15 minutes total and the oil level went down on the locater tube 2 1/2 inches. Not hard full throttle running. I would say a mix of both. Is that the norm usage for this motor? If it went down another 7 inches the oil alarm would go off.
